In the last three episodes of my AIER podcast Liberty Curious, I spoke with three intellectual powerhouses to dissect the woke cultural revolution from different angles.
The latest is an episode with Samuel Gregg on the origins of ESG, how its being applied, and its ties to the UN SDGs and the World Economic Forum. We also explore its role in reflecting, promoting, and shaping Woke ideology.
Of course, this video has the “climate change” warning label, because we delve into the Malthusian roots of the climate ideology.
Last week I sat down with Phil Magness to discuss the origins of Critical Theory, which is a Neo-Marxist school of thought born in the Frankfurt School in 1923. Critical Theory has largely contributed to what manifests itself as Woke ideology; it is a incoherent system that inherently sees groups of people as the oppressed vs. the oppressors.
And last but not least, Bruce Pardy and I spoke about what he refers to as the four deadly horsemen of the Apocalypse: Critical Theory, Social Justice, Postmodernism and Critical Race Theory.
Bruce explains identity politics, power relationships, victimhood, and all the pillars of Critical Theory, a school of thought that has infiltrated our culture, institutions and society.
We explore how this has all developed, touch on topics like the 'death of God', trans-humanism, morality, intersectionality, and how Woke culture is, at its core, an attack on Western civilization.
I hope you enjoy this series. If you’re a fan of Liberty Curious, I would much appreciate you rating and giving a review of my podcast on the apps, to help it reach more ears! Thank you.
Wokeness is disliked by most normal people, it seems. The vocal minority shouldn't control the public discourse. Good article.
