I sat down with Michael P. Senger and Nick Hudson, both of whom have recently been banned from Twitter for wrongtweet.
We discussed the decay of enlightenment values, China’s influence on the reinvention of society, and what it’s like to be silenced.
We also spoke about the culture of silence that is created by making an example of outcasting articulate voices with broad influence, breeding fear in every person who witnesses the suspension of those voices.
Randy Hillier is one such example.
This video was published on a new channel that we created to host long-form podcast episodes. Speakeasy is also available on all audio podcast platforms.
One of the reasons for creating this new channel is to have a back-up. Some of you have been asking why we stay on YouTube when it is just supporting platforms that promote censorship.
In the market, YouTube has so far proven superior despite this. There are competitors, but it remains the standard for video hosting. This is a way for ideas that promote liberty to reach ears and eyes of people outside of the echo chamber; people who are more in the mainstream.
The only way to change the culture is by changing hearts and minds by exposing them to different sets of ideas than the propagandistic narratives pushed by popular culture.
Please subscribe to the new channel to help us grow, and thank you for your ongoing support and conversation. I would love to hear your suggestions on what you would like to hear next. William and I are hoping to evolve our content as we do, focusing not only on dissecting problems, but the solutions to them.
Have a great week,
Kate
Keep up the great work Kate! Your content has really resonated with the people I've shared it with in Southern Alberta. You're striking a chord.
