Yeayyy!!! To long hair, a hair story: My ex-boyfriend had some stupid rules: to always have long hair, to maintain a certain weight, and to maintain it a certain colour (dark brown). So when I broke up with him, the first thing I did in an act of rebellion was go to the hair dressers and chopped off about 15", up to my chin. People were shocked, they barely recognized me. Like you, I regretted it immediately afterwards and to add to it, I regrettably got back together with him, gently breaking the news that my locks were gone and would he survive (I genuinely hoped that this would be an irreversible deal breaker - alas, it wasn't). A few break ups later, I am delighted to report, that like you - I have my healthy, long hair back in all its dark brown glory!
No. Not the French Revolution? The French Nazi collaborators were the Vichy French? You don’t even know who the people were who are the metaphor in your own article??
My point was that this election does not represent a return to our founding principles or those of our greatest statesmen. It represents a step towards authoritarianism and away from everything our founding fathers intended. They set forth to build a nation of laws not rulers. Of separation of church and state. In short, a nation that embodied all of the big ideas of the enlightenment.
They did not want a nation with a king, theocratic government that dictates laws based on one religions beliefs, or one where the vast majority of the populace is so badly informed that they think electing a morally corrupt former reality tv person who is on the record as not supporting the constitution is a good idea.
