For those of you who have been here for a few years, you know that my focus has been on politics, liberty, personal philosophy and cultural psychological phenomena.
Over time, my writing has become less focused on what’s going on out there, and more focused on the experiences I’ve had which have shaped my understanding of the world.
In my last essay, I shared with you how delving deep into my family of origin dynamics allowed me to see beyond the Matrix, and understand mass mobbing behaviour and societal scapegoating, because I had viscerally experienced it myself.
I believe that we can’t understand our broader culture without examining our family culture first. What we see play out in society is an extension of how families operate. Peace and reciprocity stem from our interpersonal relationships in the home, as much as anti-social behaviours and destructive tendencies do.
, who grew up in a Cluster B family, has had a similar realization. On his Substack, podcast, show and personal coaching, he shares his perspectives on what he calls the Cluster B society through this lens.Yesterday I was on Josh’s fantastic show, Disaffected, where I shared some of my personal background and my initiation into the concept of Cluster B personalities and family systems.
We discussed one of my recent controversial articles, Why Millennials Are Messed Up, the cultural narcissism some of the Boomer generation absorbed, and the resulting emotionally immaturity of the Millennial cohort.
I also give some practical tips that anyone can use to become more psychologically free and emotionally regulated.
You can listen to Disaffected on all podcast platforms, X, YouTube & Rumble. If you enjoyed this episode, make sure to stay tuned for the upcoming 1 hour 45 minute extended conversation I had with Josh, where we do a deep dive on all the above themes and more.
Hi Kate! Just wanted to stop by, comment and introduce myself. I’m Franklin and I write for the publication known as “Unorthodoxy” !
Figured since we both have an ‘unorthodox’ perspective to things (hence our names), we’d be on the same page!
And bam! Looks like we are 😊
Again, thanks for the writing and I simply wanted to introduce myself.
Hoping our paths cross again!
You two had a fantastic conversation :)
