It’s interesting to me that if as a Christian I take the Bible literally and try to apply a historical understanding to the Bible and live my life accordingly I am labeled a “fundamentalist” but when Muslims do the same thing they are labeled “radical”. Perhaps this is part of the disconnect, an unwillingness to accept that the minority of Muslims who are waging jihad are the ones who are most closely imitating their prophet and their holy writings. I think another disconnect is that it’s difficult for the non-religious or the barely religious to understand the mind of a serious believer. As a result they take many of these religious declarations as hyperbole, as a way of rallying their team, and don’t understand that these people 100% believe what they are saying and are willing to prove it at any cost.
I am horrified at the events that occurred in Ireland, and do not have mainstream tv, coverage, what exactly was the outcome of this and who is responsible. Truly so evil, especially someone stabbing a child! how evil is this. Its totally beyond my comprenshion ..however hatred is a driving evil force.. disgusted !
Humanity is lost but its not without repetition, man keeps repeating the hate in their hearts..and this is going to be something to deal with.
