I was wondering where you were going with this and you didn't disappoint! Your son is a very lucky boy and you're teaching him well.

Brilliant way of connecting the lies we tell our children about gifts mysteriously showing up if we're "good" with governments taking from some and mysteriously depositing "gifts" to others. We'd go a long way toward dispelling myths if we simply taught people how money works. I have started by correcting anyone who says "government funded" by replacing that phrase with taxpayer funded. The government does not create wealth, it merely redistributes other people's wealth. But it's a great way to ensure dependency and lack of personal responsibility.

The being nice thing went way too far. I believe that it was an idea that was idealised by the Baby Boomers (my parents) who saw what their parents went through and decided that enough was enough, hence progressiveism was taught strongly to my generation (X).

Fascism was the evil that needed to be defeated during WWII, and interestingly Socialism didn’t get the same treatment. Possibly because the first half of the last century was so bloody everyone was tired of fighting against anything else, and it’s a captivating objective that we should know better about by now.

We’re all products of our environment so my parents still had “old fashioned” manners (being nice and polite) that were now interwoven with sharing everything. If the children of these parents didn’t share everything then they weren’t nice.

Add a good dose of WASP Christianity Lite to the mix and working for what you have and then sharing it with everyone who might not have worked for it, was the ultimate goal, for “giving is its own reward”.

Thank goodness we’re waking up from all this nonsense now, albeit for those who woke up a while ago having to wait in disgrace for being not woke enough, but still better than never waking up to woke.

How does a Jew get to Heaven from dry humping the Wailing Wall like Miley Cyrus?

Enquiring minds would like to know, so let’s ask Brother Nathaniel . . .

Jews go to the Wailing Wall and thrust their hips to imitate having intercourse with their “shekinah” (a female demon) while praying to their devil . . . at an old Roman fortress called Antonia . . .

Indeed, we should reflect on the lies we teach. The two biggest lies parents (out of their own ignorance) teach their children by example:

1. Your feelings come from other people and circumstances.

2. Your heath depends on pills and shots.

Thank goodness Linus set them all straight in "A Charlie Brown Christmas". That's the foundation of our freedom and joy in the first place. Here's hoping 2024 brings smaller government in Canada. Can't wait until ours is hacked back! A girl can dream, can't she?

This is great, I am glad I found you. Personally I like Santa Claus etc etc for kids including my own, but I take your overall point, and totally agree with it. There is no free lunch. Never was. Sadly, Canada is slowly heading towards the likes of Argentina, instead, we need to focus less on 'redistributing wealth' and spend much more time on creating it.

Why did you mention Trump in the context of lock-downs, medical experimentation, and money-printing? The rest of the article is accurate, but BIDEN was president when the lock-downs were enacted, the money printed, and the heavy-duty push on phony interventions effected.

The rest, yes, but seems like an effort to obliquely slant opinion against someone not responsible for these particular negative effects.

I'm sorry, but Trump was in power during the 15 days to crush the curve in spring of 2020, which turned into longer lockdowns in most states.

Trump was played. But also if Trump ignored the fake pandemic they would have pumped up the death numbers from

COVID and he would have been charged with murder by now. As far as the terrible vax I assume he saw the way the wind was blowing and elected to fast track a flu shot for covid. A flu shot that would essentially do nothing. And get everyone back working. NO ONE knew then the shot they had in mind was going to kill ten million people around the world. No one knew the depth of their depravity. He also said he would never mandate anything. Which I believe.

In Australia we had a more or less identical approach regarding covid, although the Left were far more draconian about it than the Tories. Most Australians got vaccinated and those who were anti vax were considered selfish.

Interesting 🧐. Something for me to consider.

Blaming every, or most things on Trump grates on me as well.

Agree with this, but I do have a question. I have a young relation whose parents both worked, yet has not gotten the message. Frankly, she's very lazy (and admits to it). Also multiply diagnosed and pilled up. This is someone who could, in fact, pull up her socks, but doesn't need to, so she doesn't. But there are plenty of people who really don't function well, so my question is around how we handle that (and how do we know the difference, because I think sometimes it's not clear).

I’d be interested in knowing the difference too. These are questions that I have. Glad you raised them! I still wasn’t sure how to voice this.
