Whites were scapegoated and blamed for Apartheid. There was no consideration that you may have not supported the régime or even voted voted for it. All were lumped together and ostracized by the world based on some Marxist opinion. We were banished and treated with disdain. It continues today, but now it's the socialist communists who are benefiting. How you ask?
Well we have discriminatory laws imposed of whites as punitive actions. We are forced to give shares to black people in order to generate income. It is particularly imposed on small and medium white owned private businesses who have a scorecard that will determine with whom you can do business.
Here it is called BBBEE Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment and is imposed now on all farmers who are predominantly white Afrikaners as they have been the target group now isolated for even more extreme policies. The gov has just released new legislation that Farms that are considered "too white" will no longer be allowed to export to Great Britain or the European Union. This is according to new regulations published in the state gazette by the anti-white South African government that requires farmers to adhere to "black economic empowerment" laws in order to obtain a permit to export agricultural products to Europe. They have been enhanced .
Here is an excerpt of the definitions.

The idea of Compensation or Redress for historical past is problematic IMO, as we cannot be held liable or responsible for what our forebears did. In most cases we were not even born and in many cases we did not even vote for those who created the issue. We can only prevent it from reoccurring.
The demand for compensation or redress is the guilt tip argument of victimhood. Needs to be rejected as it will perpetuate. It is socialism aka (communism in its early form), simply put, the equal sharing of misery, for which I don't buy and neither should anyone in their right mind.
Scapegoating is a terrible problem for those being targeted, especially by racist regime's.
I fully agree with you.
We in South Africa have experienced this too.
