Thanks for that Kate, I am not overly religious but I have found a lot of wisdom in the bible the last few years. Your video also brought to mind the story of Daniel I came across recently,
Then Nebuchadnezzar in a fit of rage demanded that they bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego before him. So they brought them before the king. Nebuchadnezzar said to them, “Is it true, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, that you don’t serve my gods and that you don’t pay homage to the golden statue that I erected? Now if you are ready, when you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, trigon, harp, pipes, and all kinds of music, you must bow down and pay homage to the statue that I had made. If you don’t pay homage to it, you will immediately be thrown into the midst of the furnace of blazing fire. Now, who is that god who can rescue you from my power?” Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego replied to King Nebuchadnezzar, “We do not need to give you a reply concerning this. If our God whom we are serving exists, he is able to rescue us from the furnace of blazing fire, and he will rescue us, O king, from your power as well. But if he does not, let it be known to you, O king, that we don’t serve your gods, and we will not pay homage to the golden statue that you have erected.”
The whole story of Daniel seems to contain a Remnant mindset.
I read your piece/video as well as the whole Isaiah’s Job article and have been thinking about it ever since. It helps me at a practical level--maybe like your friends, I feel tight, frustrated towards those in my sphere who have no awareness of what has happened and is happening. I imagine starting a substack to persuade them, finally, at last. And, I know that’s futile wasted energy. The idea of the Remnant is inspiring, gives me a sense of “right audience”, and is frankly, a spiritual and existential relief--much less pressure. Thank you so much for putting this out there.
What needs to be done in immediate manner and by everyone, in order to escape the totalitarian mass death and dictatorial mass enslavement, which will, unspeakably, get ever worse, residing and take hold in this world, is to follow up following links;

We are a dead society in Canada....as expressing my frustration at a local grocery store, about the costs of food. And how we as Canadians, should just not buy , protest, shut these guys down...people just looked at me and hubby dumbfounded , put their heads down.. REallly this is Canadian apathy at its best, what is wrong with Canadians..what will it take!
