In this episode of the Kate Wand podcast, Prof. Benjamin Ginsberg joins me to discuss his new upcoming book: The New American Anti-Semitism: The Left, the Right, and the Jews.
We discuss the historical roots of anti-Zionism and antisemitism within progressive circles, and on the right, examining these phenomena through the psychological lens of projection. We trace the transformative journey of Israel from its origins as a socialist state to its current status as a key ally of the United States. This transition has sparked a variety of responses, including resentment towards Jews.
Benjamin explores the nuances of this resentment and the challenges Jewish communities face in maintaining their identity amidst shifting political landscapes.
Join us as we navigate the intricate interplay between ideology, identity, and international politics, offering insights into one of the most contentious issues of our time.

Thank you so much for your insightful comment @Renewable Lethargy. I think you’re right in that most people marching have no idea what’s going on. Western self-hatred is one hell of a drug.
On one hand I understand looking around at our decaying West and think there is nothing good about it. But it’s the rejection of all the good things that has got us here— on the part of our corrupt leaders, who want to drag us into post-modern hell— and a nihilistic segment of the population who want to tear everything down with no thought about what that means for our future.
Read Thomas Sowell’s “Black Rednecks, White Liberals”. He may have cracked the code on hatred of the Jews (and other similar minorities).
